Hey everyone! I just thought I'd share my experience and some photos from the ASAP Natin 'To in California event held at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California, on August 3, 2024. It was an amazing day filled with music, performances, and lots of fun!
Before heading into the main event, there was a colorful backdrop set up for attendees to take photos. Here’s a lovely picture of my mom posing in front of it and she looks happy and excited for the event.
As you walk inside the Toyota Arena, there's a huge banner featuring photos of the celebrities who will be at the event. Here's my mom, looking happy and excited, pointing to the banner and it was great to see her enjoying the moment!
I purchased a 2nd Level ticket from Ticketmaster. Initially, it felt a bit pricey, but considering there were about 30 performers, it made sense. And guess what? The performance lasted a total of 4 hours, from 5 PM to 9 PM, so it was honestly worth every penny.
As soon as we entered the arena, I snapped a photo of the crowd, and wow, there were so many people! It was incredible to see a lot of people gathered to support and watch ASAP Natin 'To in California and it was truly amazing to be part of the audience.
A funny moment occurred when Regine Velasquez, Piolo Pascual, and Robi Domingo mingled with the audience for some informal interviews. Piolo Pascual playfully announced that anyone with a $100 bill would get a free photo and a kiss from him. This led to several fans proudly waving their $100 bills, and one lady even flashed her black card!
The whole crowd burst into laughter at the playful and surprising moment. It was a fun addition to the event.
At the event, Gary Valenciano's birthday was celebrated, which was one of the special highlight for me. Gary is a legend, and I’ve been a huge fan of his music for years, especially his inspirational songs. His powerful voice and heartfelt lyrics have a unique way of bringing hope and faith, no matter what challenges we face in life.
I've been listening to his music since I was young, back when I used to watch him perform on a black-and-white TV in the Philippines. Seeing him live at the ASAP in California event was a great experience.
Ah, and here are the romantic boys featuring Inigo Pascual, Kyle Echarri, Darren Espanto, Piolo Pascual, Paulo Avelino, Donny Pangilinan, Josh Garcia, and Robi Domingo. They performed the classic song "Hanggang Kailan - Umuwi Ka Na Baby" by Orange and Lemons.
Their performance was one of the highlights of the night, with their great voices and charming presence captivating the audience. Each of the audience sang along and cheered, creating a lively and fun atmosphere.
Carlos Yulo, who won a gold medal in gymnastics and made history as the first Filipino to achieve this at the Paris 2024 Olympics, was warmly congratulated at the event. The recognition highlighted his remarkable accomplishment and the pride he brought to the Philippines, with the audience acknowledging his success and cheering for his achievement.
Bamboo Mañalac also performed his popular hits 'Tatsulok' and 'Noypi.' I thought it was truly wonderful of him to step down from the stage and sing up close to the crowd, allowing everyone to experience his performance more intimately. I really admire him for that gesture.
Kyle Echarri, KZ Tandingan, and Inigo Pascual gave an amazing performance. They sang some of Juan Karlos' songs, including "Buwan (Sa Ilalim ng Puting Ilaw)" and "Ere." Their energy and emotion made the performance stand out, and they brought a unique touch to Juan Karlos' music. It was a memorable moment that showed off their talent and passion for the songs.
The Filipino pop group BGYO was another exciting guest at the event. They performed their hit song "Trash," bringing their signature style to the stage. BGYO's performance was a highlight of the event, adding a lot of enjoyment and making the experience even more memorable.
Moira Dela Torre and Yeng Constantino performed together at the event. They sang Yeng Constantino’s song "Awitin" and Moira Dela Torre’s hit "Kumpas." Their duet was a special highlight, and their combined talents made it a memorable experience for everyone.
The Filipino pop group BINI was a major highlight of the show. They delivered an impressive mini concert with three energetic performances. They kicked things off with their latest hit, "Cherry on Top," which had everyone excited. Next, they sang "Salamin, Salamin," a fan favorite known for its catchy beat. They wrapped up their set with "Pantropiko," their song that went viral worldwide and had the crowd singing along.
Watching them perform live was a fantastic experience. Their energy and stage presence made the performance memorable, and I felt thrilled to be there to see it all unfold.
One special highlight before the show ended was a stunning performance by Sharon Cuneta. She took the stage alongside Zsa Zsa Padilla and Regine Velasquez. Together, they delivered a powerful rendition of Sharon Cuneta's classic hit, "Sanay Wala Nang Wakas." The performance was a memorable moment, showcasing the incredible talent of these iconic singers and leaving the audience thrilled and captivated.
At the end of the show, everyone came together on stage for a grand finale. They performed a lively medley that included "The Sign" and "Beautiful Life" by Ace of Base, as well as "MMMBop" by Hanson. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as the entire cast and guests joined in, creating a fun and memorable moment that had everyone singing along and celebrating the event’s success.
Lastly, I want to mention that we came home with a lot of freebies from the event. Many companies were giving away free items, and we ended up with a bunch of grocery bags, which are fantastic. These bags will be really handy for my husband and me when we go grocery shopping. It was a great bonus to take home some practical and useful items from the event!
ASAP Natin 'To in California 2024 at Toyota Arena was an amazing experience. The lineup was fantastic, and the venue was perfect. As an attendee, I can say the energy was incredible, and the performances were top-notch. It was a night to remember!
